Wore my shirt that had this logo on it yesterday and someone came up to me and asked me about it which happens quite often because it is such a unique design.
However, this time, I ended up spending twenty minutes with a complete stranger spreading the mission and vision of To Write Love on Her Arms and how the organization came to be. She even told me that she, at one point in her life, thought about self injury and wished she would have known about this amazing organization during that dark period.
I realized, in that moment, that as much as I want the job as Intern Program Director for To Write Love on Her Arms more than anything, I can be happy knowing that even if I do not get it, I will always share what TWLOHA does. Even if I am not chosen for this position, they could never lose me as a follower, supporter, and ultimately a believer.
And at the end of the day, that is what matters.

I didn’t think I could be any more obsessed with them.
Then they open their mouths and sing.
All in Acapella.
I die.

Four. No, it is not my favorite number nor is it even a number that has any vital importance to my life. However, it does have relevance at this point. Risk, home, love, hope, and life. All of these words are words that I have been able to connect to these last few weeks. Also, they all happen to each be made up of four letters. Four.
